The Log Jam Restaurant – oh yes, the restaurant is log-cabin style..and even better boasts three huge stone fireplaces that are light and burning wood as soon as the cold comes.  Nothing better than the smell of a wood-burning fire while you eat a sizzling steak!

The view across the lake from Lake George Battlefield Park

Nothing better than breakfast or lunch in an old barn at The Silo in Queensbury.  If the special of the day is Mac and Cheese – get it!

The view from the 10th hole at the Top of the World Golf Resort – New York and Lake George to your left, the mountains of Vermont to your right.  And yes, you can drive up and enjoy the view even if you’re not playing or staying there. *smile*
