Green Ramp Biscuits

I’m not sure if the picture does it justice—but those are some GREEN biscuits. As in: not just “Happy St. Patrick’s Day-Green”, but I’m dressed up in sparkly green glasses and wearing a metallic shamrock t-shirt to the New York City’s right-down-the-center-of-Fifth-Avenue St. Patrick’s Day parade -green. Yes, that green!

My First Brioche!

As you can see, Santa did not bring me a new digital camera this Christmas…*smile* But I did get something fabulous—-Brioche molds! One large and four small ones….and are they beautiful!

My Family’s Fruitcake

Such a world apart from a cake imbedded with soaked fruits, our family’s traditional Christmas fruitcake is really a dense loaf of whole dates, marashino cherries and whole nuts barely held together by an egg mixture.
